Shedding in the early days is common in all woollen rugs. We use special washing processes and premium wool to minimize the shedding. However, even then you can expect some shedding to occur as it is the natural tendency of wool.

Vacuum your rug twice a month and remove dirt or dust to ensure your lovely floor rug has a long life. You can also gently brush the surface to remove dust regularly. When using a vacuum cleaner, use the suction attachment.

Never wash your rug at home. Every couple of years, use near-by professional carpet cleaning services to wash your floor rug. In case of spills, blot with a paper towel or cloth and remove the spill immediately.

Rotate your rug once in a while to ensure equal wear across the rug.

We recommend buying a rug pad to place below your rug especially for dhurries which are thin and can be slippery. A good quality rug pad gives the rug a nice cushioned surface.
